ARMENIA-POLAND RELATIONS HAVE GREAT POTENTIAL: RA PRESIDENT

March 12, RA President Serzh Sargsyan received Polish delegation
headed by Premier Donald Tusk.

RA President noted that Armenia-Poland relations have great potential
and Armenia strives to develop it by expanding political, economic
and cultural ties, RA Presidential press service informed NEWS.am.

According to him, good relations between the nations and EU Eastern
Partnership are two important grounds for development.

Tusk said that Armenia-Poland relations develop stably and Poland is
greatly interested in enlargement of bilateral cooperation.

Sargsyan touched upon recognition of Armenian Genocide by Sejm
of Poland in 2005, stressing that it also proves there is mutual
understanding and confidence between the nations.

The officials exchanged views on possible directions of Armenia-Poland
cooperation and intensification of economic and trade relations.

Polish Premier emphasized that his country highly assesses Armenia’s
efforts into maintenance of stability and peace in the region.
