Yerevan (Yerkir) – Speaking about Armenians, who have left for
Turkey, Mr. Erdogan forgets about the millions of Turkish migrants
who make their living in different countries of the world, Armenian
Deputy Foreign Minister Arman Kirakosyan has said when commenting on
Turkish prime minister’s statement on intention to deport Armenians
from Turkey.

It’s a pity that on the eve of the 95th anniversary of the Armenian
Genocide perpetrated by Ottoman Turkey the authorities of the
contemporary Republic of Turkey continue to be guided by the values
of the Ottoman Empire, not Europe, he added.

“I should like to see any power of the world destroy this race, this small tribe of unimportant people, whose wars have all been fought and lost, whose structures have crumbled, literature is unread, music is unheard, and prayers are no more answered. Go ahead, destroy Armenia . See if you can do it. Send them into the desert without bread or water. Burn their homes and churches. Then see if they will not laugh, sing and pray again. For when two of them meet anywhere in the world, see if they will not create a New Armenia.” - WS
