LEBANESE TOURISM MINISTER WILL INVITE ARMENIAN COUNTERPARTS TO LEBANON TO DISCUSS COOPERATION

YEREVAN, March 24, /ARKA/. Lebanese tourism minister Fadi Abbud will
invite his Armenian counterparts to Lebanon to discuss possible ways
of cooperation, Armenian foreign affairs ministry said to ARKA.

It said during a meeting with Armenian ambassador to Lebanon, Ashot
Kocharian, the minister said he was ready to organize the visit
of Armenian colleagues. The Armenian ministry quoted the Lebanese
minister as praising the Armenian community of Lebanon for its input
into the country’s political and public life.

It said the two men then discussed cooperation prospects between the
two countries and expressed confidence that their friendly relations
and direct airline flights between Yerevan and Beirut provide for
good opportunities for making reciprocal. visits, preparing travel
packages, organizing and conducting business and cultural events.
