ARMENIAN EXPERT: RAPPROCHEMENT OF ARMENIAN AND JEWISH LOBBIES IN THE USA IS QUITE PROBABLE

ArmInfo. Rapprochement of the Armenian and Jewish lobbies in the USA
is quite probable, said Armenian expert Artak Grigoryan at today’s
press-conference.
He pointed out that earlier the Jewish lobby of the USA had always
come out against Congress’ adoption of the resolution condemning the
Armenian Genocide. "However, now the Jewish lobby has certain problems
because of the USA’s stance in the Palestinian-Israeli problem,
and they also need cooperation. I think the next discussion of the
Armenian Genocide issue in the Israeli Knesset has become possible
also due to the Jewish lobby’s reverence to the Armenians’ side",-
said Grigoryan. To recall, in April 2010 Haim Oron, Chairman of the
Merez faction, is going to once again raise the issue of the Armenian
Genocide recognition in the Israeli Knesset.
