8 ARMENIAN BOXERS MAKE IT TO YEREVAN TOURNAMENT SEMIFINAL

International boxing tournament launched on April 6 in Yerevan,
hosted sportsmen at 1/4 finals on Wednesday.

April 7 tournament was marked with successful performance of 4 Armenian
boxers: Tigran Armenakyan (75 kg weight category); Tsolak Ananikyan
(91 kg weight category); Ohanyan bothers, Bagrat and Hovhannes (+91
kg weight category).

Karen Aylazyan, Manvel Sargsyan (54 kg weight category), Ara Puluzyan
(60 kg weight category) and Andranik Hakobyan (75 kg weight category)
were announced winners in earlier combats.

The 8 Armenian boxers made it to Yerevan tournament semifinal.

The international tournament is hosting 9 boxing teams: from Armenia
(3 teams); Belorussia, Bulgaria, Georgia (2 teams); Iran, Kazakhstan,
Moldova, Russia and Ukraine (2 teams).
