"Turkey wants quite another thing by its policy. They try to cut
Armenia from Diaspora," chief of ARF fraction Vahan Hovhannisyan
released a speech today during Cultural Genocide international
conference.

He said investigations recorded that the colonies have been keeping
their traditions and national values more than in the motherland; and
the same may consider our Diaspora. "I’m sure Turkish investigation
is also aware of it," NA deputy said.

According to him Turkey tries hard to cut Armenia from Diaspora,
to create conflicts within the Diaspora. Armenia should be aware of
it and only by acknowledging it may avoid a cultural genocide.

"Spiritual values are very difficult to restore," Hovhannisyan said
adding that Turkey and Azerbaijan record all those place names and
even bird names which have Armenian roots.

“I should like to see any power of the world destroy this race, this small tribe of unimportant people, whose wars have all been fought and lost, whose structures have crumbled, literature is unread, music is unheard, and prayers are no more answered. Go ahead, destroy Armenia . See if you can do it. Send them into the desert without bread or water. Burn their homes and churches. Then see if they will not laugh, sing and pray again. For when two of them meet anywhere in the world, see if they will not create a New Armenia.” - WS
