RALLY ON 95TH ANNIVERSARY OF ARMENIAN GENOCIDE WAS HELD IN FRONT OF DUTCH PARLIAMENT BUILDING

ArmInfo. Nearly 500 representatives of "April 24" Committee of the
Federation of Dutch-Armenian Organizations and the Hay Dat (Armenian
Cause) Office in the Netherlands rallied on the occasion of the 95th
anniversary of Armenian Genocide in front of the Dutch parliament
building in Het Plein Square of Hague. During the rally, several
members of the Dutch parliament came out with calls on Turkey to
recognize the Armenian Genocide and stop the policy of denial. After
the rally, a petition was transferred to the Chairman and members
of the Parliament’s Second Chamber Committee on Foreign Affairs. A
procession was held to the Embassy of Turkey.
The same evening some 40 representatives of the Azerbaijani and
Turkish communities also rallied in Hague.
