INDONESIA’S STANCE ON NAGORNO-KARABAKH CONFLICT WILL REMAIN "UNCHANGED"

Baku – APA. Indonesia’s stance on the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict will
remain unchanged and we consider that the dispute must be settled
on the basis of Azerbaijan’s territorial integrity, said Indonesian
Deputy Chairman of House of Representatives Pramono Anung Vibon during
his meeting with Speaker of Azerbaijan Milli Majlis Ogtay Asadov,
APA reports quoting "AzerTac" news agency.

He noted a special group on the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict will be
set up in Indonesia’s parliament.

On the relationship between the two countries, Vibon praised it.

Ogtay Asadov, in turn, said his country attaches great importance to
boosting cooperation with Indonesia. "We have great opportunities to
expand bilateral economic cooperation," he said.

Asadov said the volume of trade turnover between the two countries
exceeds $600 million.

The Speaker also underlined the role of the two countries` legislative
bodies in development of bilateral ties.

He thanked the Indonesian government for backing Azerbaijan’s position
on the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict.

Azerbaijani ambassador to Indonesia Ibrahim Hajıyev was present in
the meeting.
