normalization of Armenian-Turkish relations, but only to suspend the
ratification of the protocols. APA reports quoting Novoisti Armenia
Agency that about it is told at the message of Armenian President to
the nation.

At the message also was noted that Armenian President continues
discussions on this issue with Presidents of France, the United States

to confess that our partners call on me to continue the process,
not to suspend it", – Sarkisyan told.

"Following discussions at the National Security Council we have decided
not to abandon the process yet, but merely to suspend ratification of
protocols. I am sure our national interests demand it", – emphasized

Abdullah Gul "for being politically correct during this period and
for the positive relationship that emerged between them"
