ARMENIAN PRESIDENT RECEIVES NEWLY APPOINTED RUSSIAN CO-CHAIR OF THE OSCE MINSK GROUP

Armenian President Serzh Sargsyan received today newly appointed
Russian co-chair of the OSCE Minsk Group Igor Popov.

Presidential press office told Armenpress that the president
congratulated the diplomat on the appointment and expressed hope that
he will have his important contribution to the peaceful process of
the Nagorno Karabakh conflict settlement.

The president of the country and the co-chair discussed recent
developments over the conflict settlement process.
