EXHIBITION:CONTRIBUTION OF ARMENIANS IN STRUGGLE AGAINST FASCISM

Today in the Armenian National Archive was opened an exhibition
dedicated to the 65th anniversary of the victory of the Great Patriotic
War. On the exhibition all the documents and the documentaries of
the National Archive that concern the Great Patriotic War will be
presented.

"We have presented the participation of the Armenians not only
in Armenia, Soviet Union and Germany, but also in Diaspora by the
participation of the Armenians of Diaspora, the work of the Armenian
people in the back, the hard conditions, the Armenian partisans, etc."

Amatuni Virabyan the director of the National Archive told on the
conversation with Aysor.am and added that the exhibition presents the
contribution of the Armenian people in the struggle against Fascism.

There are documents from archive as well as letters, photos, maps,
materials concerning the generals.

"The victory against Fascism was a victory for all the humanity,
as it had a racial ideology, which was following the destruction of
some peoples," said A. Virabyan summing up his speech.
