ArmInfo. Armenian Defence Ministry has called announcements by Eldar
Sabiroglu, head of press-service of Azerbaijani Defence Ministry
windbaggery and propagandist hysteria.

‘The statement by Armenian defence minister that Armenian armed forces
should reach the level of the strongest armies of the world has
become the reason for the regular "inspiration" of representatives
of Azerbaijani propaganda machine. This statement seemed strange to
representatives of the Azerbaijani "propaganda machine" and their
instructors, which can judge about the battle efficiency of their
own army only by the size if the military budget, the purchased old
weapons and connivancy in the Azerbaijani army’, – press-service of
Armenian Defence Ministry says. ‘To distract attention of Azerbaijani
society from the cases of mass murder, suicide, self-inflicted
wounds and forceful rapes, which happen often, ‘the army commissars"
of the Azerbaijani propaganda machine discuss an incident in one of
the military units of the Armenian armed forces many times. This is
clear, as Azerbaijani military and political top cannot get rid of the
loser complex… Instead of drawing a lesson from the past Azerbaijan
goes on speaking the language of threats, insults and blackmail. We
declare once again: the Armenian army stands strongly at the borders
of our state and is ready any moment to give a Roland for an Oliver’,
– Armenian Defence Ministry says.

“I should like to see any power of the world destroy this race, this small tribe of unimportant people, whose wars have all been fought and lost, whose structures have crumbled, literature is unread, music is unheard, and prayers are no more answered. Go ahead, destroy Armenia . See if you can do it. Send them into the desert without bread or water. Burn their homes and churches. Then see if they will not laugh, sing and pray again. For when two of them meet anywhere in the world, see if they will not create a New Armenia.” - WS
