OSCE MONITORING OF CONTACT LINE BETWEEN AZERBAIJANI AND ARMENIAN TROOPS ENDED WITHOUT INCIDENT

Baku – APA. Under the mandate of the Personal Representative of the
OSCE Chairman-in-Office, the contact line of Armenian and Azerbaijani
troops in the west of Gizil Oba village of Azerbaijan’s Terter region
was monitored on May 13. The monitoring ended without incident,
spokesman for the Azerbaijan Defense Ministry Teymour Abdullayev
told APA.

Coordinator of the Office of Personal Representative of the OSCE
Chairman-in-Office Imre Palatinus and field assistant Jaslan Nurtazin
conducted the monitoring on Azerbaijani side. Field assistants to
the Personal Representative of the OSCE Chairman-in-Office Antal
Herdich and William Pryor conducted the monitoring on the opposite
side of the line of contact recognized as territory of Azerbaijan on
the international level.
