Turkish attorney general said he could arrest people for performing
Armenian songs a few years ago

The faculty of medicine of Turkish University `Dijle’ has been
granted `ISO 9001′ certification and the governor of Diarbekir Mustafa
Toprak and attorney general Durdu Qavaq attended the event to
congratulate the university.

The students of Conservatory performed Turkish, Armenian, Kurdish
songs. `CnnTurk’ says the Attorney General has appeared with an
exclusive statement in this respect: `It’s five years I’m chairing the
office of Attorney General of Diarbekir. We have great changes here –
songs in different languages are being performed for us. If in 2006 I
was invited to such an event, and songs in foreign languages were
performed, I would leave the event and ordered to arrest the
performers. Today I’m thankful you did it.’
