FOREIGN MINISTER VARDAN OSKANYAN AND CANADIAN PARLIAMENTARY DELEGATION
DISCUSS ARMENIAN-TURKISH RELATIONS

YEREVAN, APRIL 23. ARMINFO. Today Armenian Foreign Minister Vardan
Oskanyan met with the members of the Canadian parliamentary
delegation, which is currently in Yerevan to participate in the
measures dedicated to the 90th anniversary of the Armenian Genocide.

The press-center of the State Commission for organizations of measures
dedicated to the 90th anniversary of the Armenian Genocide informs
ARMINFO that the delegation consists of MPs, representatives of the
parliamentary staff and the Armenian community of Canada. The minister
welcomed the guests, thanked them for being with the Armenian people
on these days. Minister Oskanyan emphasizes with gratitude the
friendly countries that have established close relations with Armenia,
contributing to establishment and development of the country as well
as having recognized and assessed the Armenian Genocide of 1915. The
meeting participants exchanged opinions related the issues of
development of bilateral relations, activation of trade and economic
ties, the prospects of development of Armenia and a number of regional
and international issues. The dwelled on the issues related to the
Armenian-Turkish relations and the way to their settlement.
