Armenia Calls on Erdogan
Hamlet Gasparian, spokesperson of RA Foreign Ministry, stated that “the
Armenian archives are open long ago for each country and each scholar.”
Mediamax informed that Hamlet Gasparian said this, commenting on the
statement of Recep Tayyip Erdogan who said that Armenia doesn’t follow
the example of Turkey and doesn’t open its archives.
“If there is a real willingness to improve relations and the courage
to do that, any excuses are senseless. As for our archives, they are
open for each country and each scholar from each nation. Till now, many
foreign scholars used them. While not a single Turkish scholar applied
for a research. If they wish, they can come and make a research here,
” he said.
“We just want to repeat once more that everybody knows the
reality. Let’s give up the propaganda. Let’s talk frankly,” Hamlet
Gasparian underscored.
