Leaders from 46 European countries are meeting at a two-day summit
of the Council of Europe in Poland. Less than in twenty four hours
after meeting to Ilham Aliyev together with foreign ministers of
Russia and France to find ways for solution of Daqliq Qarabaq (DQ)
issue, Kocharyan again repeated separatist statements. He called to
integrate self-proclaimed regime of Daqliq Qarabaq into the European
Structures. Quotation: we look forward to find ways of including the
de facto established Republic of Nagorno Karabagh into the European
processes of integration. End of quotation. Official Baku is yet to
comment on Kocharyan’s statement. However Ilham Aliyev brought the
topic while his dual meeting. Azerbaijani president met Lithuanian
President Valdas Adamkus and Denisa Vagner, foreign policy and
neighbouring policy high commissioner of the Council of Europe. Ilham
Aliyev informed that continuing conflict was deadly blow for regional
development and creating obstacles for region’s integration into the
European integration.
