GEORGIAN AZERIS CLASH WITH FINANCIAL POLICE, ONE DIES

TBILISI, JULY 11, ARMENPRESS: An ethnic Azerbaijani in Georgia’s
southern-eastern region was reported to die of a heart break in a
clash with Georgia’s financial police that have launched another
massive inspection of businesses run by Azerbaijanis in this area.
The incident occurred at a location known as Red Bridge on the
Georgian-Azeri border, serving as the biggest wholesale market in the
South Caucasus. Clashes between Georgian Azeris and the country’s
financial police have become routine. Georgians claim the man died of
a heart attack.
