Interior Ministry of Greece Realizes Important Projects in Armenia

INTERIOR MINISTRY OF GREECE REALIZES SOME IMPORTANT
PROJECTS IN ARMENIA

YEREVAN, JULY 13. ARMINFO. The Greek Development Assistance Program
of the Hellenic Ministry of Interior, with the cooperation of the
Greek Embassy in Armenia and the Municipalities of Lori Marz of
Armenia has already completed the realization of five projects.

As ARMINFO was informed in the Greek embassy, the highway connecting
the Alaverdi bridge with the center of Sarakhart suburb has been
reconstructed within the Program framework. Besides, the construction
of drinking water purification system has been completed and the
technical equipping directed to the improvement of the quality of
drinking water in Akhtala has been restored. Highways of local
importance in Shamluch have been reconstructed in cooperation with
town’s municipality. The internal drinking water supply system has
been restored in Yaghdan and Koghes communities.

According to the source, the Greek Embassy, in cooperation with the
Gyumri municipality, realizes the project of construction of a
sheltered swimming pool. This project will be delivered to the local
community by May, 2006.
