ARMENIA MUST KNOW THAT AZERBAIJAN IS STRONG: AZERI PRESIDENT
BAKU, JULY 26. ARMINFO. Armenia must know that Azerbaijan is strong
and has a powerful army that can liberate the occupied territories at
any moment, Azeri President Ilham Aliev said during his Sunday visit
to norther Azerbaijan.
Azeri media report him as saying that the enemy must know that
Azerbaijan is strong and can liberate its lands by any means.
Concerning the Karabakh peace process Aliev said that recently OSCE
Minsk Group has improved its activities. Karabakh is Azerbaijan’s key
problem and important steps have already been taken in this
direction. The international community has recognized the necessity of
settling this problem stage by stage. Aliev said that for settling
the problem Azerbaijan is making both economic and diplomatic
efforts. To enhance its military power Azerbaijan has increased its
military expenses by 70%.
