PM WANTS THE CONFERENCE

It was revealed that Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan told Bogazici
University Rector Prof. Dr. Ayse Soysal to organize the conference
on “Armenians in the Late Ottoman Empire” before opening of entry
talks with the EU on October 3rd. Meanwhile, Foreign Minister &
Deputy Prime Minister Abdullah Gul said about the conference, “we
consider such meetings an opportunity to explain our theses both in
Turkey and abroad. We should benefit from such opportunities.”
