Hundreds of Kazakhs on Sunday are taking part in a protest in Karaganda, after the murder of a 23-year-old Kazakh in this city. The respective video has been posted on YouTube.

Three local Armenians are suspects in the murder.

The video reports that hundreds of Kazakhs are expressing their anger over and accusing the representatives of the Armenian community of Kazakhstan for what occurred.

NUR.KZ news agency had reported that the police detained three men—Torgom Malkhasyan, Sokhak Malkhasyan, and Qayir Nadirbekov—in connection with this murder. They became suspects in committing a serious crime, and a Karaganda court ruled that they be remanded in custody.

Also, the Karaganda Region police announced an arrest warrant for Narek Gururyan.

The Embassy of Armenia in Kazakhstan had issued a respective statement, in which it extended its condolences to the relatives and friends of the murder victim.
