Yerevan /Mediamax/. Foreign Minister of Armenia Zohrab Mnatsakanyan has stated today that no online discussion is planned for the leadership of Armenia and Azerbaijan.

“Currently, we need to wait for the end of this stage, given the pandemic, and continue working at the level of Foreign Ministers,” Mnatsakanyan has said at the briefing in the National Assembly.

Touching on the Armenian-Russian relations, Zohrab Mnatsakanyan has stated that there is no fundamental crisis in them.

“Armenian-Russian relations are not based on a fundamental crisis, they are based on a strategic allied partnership. That is the foundation of our cooperation in its entirety, in every area.

As for whether there are issues in these relations, the answer is as follows: if we have no issues, we have no relations. We have many issues, but no fundamental problem or crisis,” he said.

Zohrab Mnatsakanyan has added that in case of certain issues, the sides conduct transparent, open discussions. “There is no reason to consider them a problem that drives a wedge between us,” he said.

“I should like to see any power of the world destroy this race, this small tribe of unimportant people, whose wars have all been fought and lost, whose structures have crumbled, literature is unread, music is unheard, and prayers are no more answered. Go ahead, destroy Armenia . See if you can do it. Send them into the desert without bread or water. Burn their homes and churches. Then see if they will not laugh, sing and pray again. For when two of them meet anywhere in the world, see if they will not create a New Armenia.” - WS
