Chairman of the Military-Industrial Committee of Armenia Artak Davtyan today paid a visit to Kalashnikov rifle factory in Yerevan, as reported the Ministry of High-Tech Industry.
“It has only been a month since the visit of the Prime Minister of Armenia, and the Kalashnikov rifle factory is already ready to provide the first batch of 1,000 rifles to the Armenian Armed Forces.
The rifles will be sent to the storage room of the Armed Forces, from where, according to a decision, they will be sent to military units for on-duty service or implementation of objectives for combat. This is already a visible result. The whole process of assembling the rifles has been overseen, and this was the final part of the first batch that is ready to be delivered to our Armed Forces,” Chairman of the Military-Industrial Committee of the Ministry of High-Tech Industry of Armenia Artak Davtyan stated.
During the visit, Davtyan was told about all the stages of assembling the rifles, and there was special focus on the multi-stage process of quality supervision.
