Armenia is closely following the procedures for the sale of 49% of the shares of Georgia’s Caucasus Online to an Azerbaijani company. Hakob Arshakyan, the Minister of High Technological Industry of Armenia, stated about this Wednesday while presenting the activity report on the high-tech industry of the country.
“I wouldn’t like for Armenia to go to the extreme in regard to this issue,” the minister stated and emphasized that, apparently, one of the companies was disapproved by the regulatory commission and launched a procedure for sale of shares, and now Georgia has launched legal procedures.
“Armenia’s Georgian colleagues are dealing with this matter, and I wouldn’t even like to comment on this since it’s about regulatory and commercial procedures in a neighboring country. Armenia is closely following the situation. Let’s see how it all ends,” Arshakyan concluded.
