Sports: European U-23 wrestling championship: Arman Andreasyan and Arman Avagyan score bronze medals

Armenia’s wrestlers Arman Andreasyan (70 kg) and Arman Avagyan (79 kg) scored bronze medals at the European U-23 freestyle wrestling championship taking place in Skopje, North Macedonia.

During the competition for the bronze medal, Andreasyan beat Ukrainian Denis Borohani 3-2, while Avagyan beat Georgian Goga Mamiauri 7-4.

Razmik Papikyan (61 kg) and Hrayr Alikhanyan (74 kg) scored a pass to the final after starting to compete on May 18. On May 19, Papikyan will compete with Georgian Teimuraz Vanishvili during the final, and Hrayr Alikhanyan will compete with Russian Chermen Valiyev for the gold medal.
