European Parliament adopts resolution obliging Azerbaijan release all Armenian captives

The European Parliament adopted resolution obliging Azerbaijan to release Armenian prisoners of war and captured civilians without any pre-conditions, Prosperous Armenia faction member Naira Zohrabyan wrote on Facebook, adding that the document was backed by 607 MPs.

"The discussions lasted for few hours and the European deputies simply destroyed Azerbaijan," Zohrabyan wrote, adding that the resolution is a result of the lasting serious work.

"Davit Shahnazaryan, Armen Ashotyan, Levon Zurabyan, Armenian Cause Office in Brussels and Siranuysh Sahakyan's team brilliantly worked on it," the deputy wrote.
