ARMENIAN EXPERTS TO PARTICIPATE IN INTERNATIONAL CONFERENCE DEDICATED TO ISSUES OF AVIAN INFLUENZA TO TAKE PLACE IN ISTANBUL

YEREVAN, APRIL 11, NOYAN TAPAN. An international conference
dedicated to problems of avian influenza will be held in Ankara
on April 12-13. Six experts from Armenia will participate in the
conference. Radio Liberty states about it. The UN Food and Agriculture
Organization (FAO) initiated the conference.

Avetik Nersisian, the FAO representative to Armenia informed that after
the conference ends, Christian Mandra, the expert of the organization
will visit the region, within the framework of urgent programs of
struggle against avian influenza. The visit to Armenia is scheduled
starting from April 21.
