Official opening of Armenia’s year in France during Chirac’s visit

OFFICIAL OPENING OF ARMENIA’s YEAR IN FRANCE TO TAKE PLACE WITHIN THE
FRAMEWORK OF JACQUES CHIRAC’S VISIT

The official opening of the Armenian Year in France will take place
at the end of September, Foreign Minister of Armenia Vardan Oskanyan
said at the joint press-conference with Foreign Minister of France
Philippe Douste-Blazy, Tuesday.

V.Oskanyan mentioned that the official opening of the Year is timed
to French President Jacques Chirac’s visit to Armenia. The Minister
emphasized that the French delegation will be very imposing. "Around
100 people will arrive in Armenia, including entrepreneurs and
journalists", V.Oskanyan said. The programme of the forthcoming
activities was promulgated at the press-conference. The official
closing of the Armenian Year in France will also take place in
Yerevan, July 2007, and non-officially in September in France.
