Famous American actor and director Sylvester Stallone is going to shoot
a film about the heroic defense of Musa Dag in the Ottoman Empire in
1915 based on Franz Werfel’s novel "40 Days of Musa Dag." In Stallone’s
words, during World War I Turkey has perpetrates mass extermination
of Armenians and the film will tell how Armenians organized defense
on Musa Dag and survived with the help of French vessels. Ankara
has pursued the policy of the Armenian Genocide denial for 85 years
already, Sylvester Stallone said, adding that he knows that Turkey

“I should like to see any power of the world destroy this race, this small tribe of unimportant people, whose wars have all been fought and lost, whose structures have crumbled, literature is unread, music is unheard, and prayers are no more answered. Go ahead, destroy Armenia . See if you can do it. Send them into the desert without bread or water. Burn their homes and churches. Then see if they will not laugh, sing and pray again. For when two of them meet anywhere in the world, see if they will not create a New Armenia.” - WS
