IN ALL LIKELIHOOD ARMEUSGAZPROM TO EXPORT ELECTRICITY FROM ARMENIA TO GEORGIA

YEREVAN, JANUARY 8, NOYAN TAPAN. In all likelihood the company
AemRusgazprom will export electricity from Armenia to Georgia. NT
was informed from ArmRusgazprom that the company is now discussing
the bid for electricity purchase.

To recap, recently the RA Minister of Energy Armen Movsisian stated
that the ministry received the Georgian side’s bid for purchasing
200 megawatts of electricity.

According to the RA Public Services Regulatory Commission, the licence
for electricity export granted to ArmRusgazprom by the commission
expired on January 1, and that of the company Electric Networks of
Armenia – in September.
