"RADIO VAN" DOES NOT BOYCOTT BUT PROTESTS THE DECISION OF MTC

Yerevan, January 12. ArmInfo. Radio Van does not boycott but protests
against the "order of Andranik Manoukyan, Minister of Transport and
Communication, which contradicts 9 Law on ‘Legal Acts’. The law says
that means, volumes and order of tax and other obligatory payments, of
physical and legal entities, should be determined only by law",
Shoushanik Arevshatyan, Director of the "Radio Van" told ArmInfo
today.

She said that new costs were determined only in the end of 2006. As
per 42 Article of Armenian Constitution, laws and other legal acts
worsening legal status of an entity do not have the reversed
power. "Annual payment for broadcasting wasn’t increased from 600 thnd
AMD to 900 thnd AMD. It varies from former to the latter",
Ms. Arevshatyan said.
