Turkish Vice-Premier and Foreign Minister Abdullah Gul, who is in Paris to
participate in the Lebanese Conference, presented his concerns to the Foreign
Minister of France Philippe Douste-Blazy connected with the adoption of the
Armenian Genocide bill adopted in the French Parliament.
According to the Turkish Akcham, Gul said this bill does not benefit anyone.
`Turkey’s relations with France could have been better,’ said Gul, noting
that circulation of the bill criminalizing the negation of the Armenian
Genocide has deeply influenced Turkish-French relations.
