PRESIDENT KOCHARYAN MET WITH NICOLAS SARKOZY

Armenian President Robert Kocharyan, who is paying an official
visit to Paris, had a meeting with the Interior Minister of France,
presidential candidate from the UMP Party Nicolas Sarkozy.
Mediamax correspondent reports from Paris that the meeting took place
in the evening on 19 February. Besides Armenian-French relations,
Robert Kocharyan and Nicolas Sarkozy discussed issues related to
international relations. The Interior Minister of France was interested
also in the situation in the South Caucasus region.
This was the first meeting between Robert Kocharyan and Nicolas
Sarkozy.
