Soldering Work Almost Completed on Armenian Section of Gas Pipeline

SOLDERING WORK ALMOST COMPLETED ON ARMENIAN SECTION OF IRAN-ARMENIA
GAS PIPELINE

YEREVAN, FEBRUARY 23, NOYAN TAPAN. Unfavorable weather conditions
prevented the Iran-Armenia gas pipeline from being put into operation
ahead of the date envisaged by the agreement – March 17. Director of
High-Vaoltage Electric Networks company Sahak Abrahamian told NT
correspondent that only soldering work remains to be done on 2.5 km of
the gas pipeline’s 40 km Armenian section.

The Armenian delegation headed by the RA Minister of Energy Armen
Movsisian will leave for Iran on February 26 in order to discuss
issues related to operation of the gas pipeline.
