William Saroyan’s Work Staged at Minsk National Academic Theater

WILLIAM SAROYAN’S WORK STAGED AT MINSK NATIONAL ACADEMIC THEATER

MINSK, FEBRUARY 23, NOYAN TAPAN – ARMENIANS TODAY. The Armenian
Theater of Moscow performed on the stage of the Yanka Kupala National
Academic Theater of Minsk on February 20 with the performance of
William Saroyan’s "Who is There?" work. This four-month company of
actors headed by artistic head Slava Stepanian was formed with the
assistance of the Embassy of Armenia to Russia. As Noyan Tapan was
informed by the RA Foreign Ministry’s Press and Information
Department, the company’s performance in Minsk was organized on the
initiative and with participation of the Armenian community of
Belarus, with the assistance of the Embassy of Armenia to Russia,
based on the cooperation agreement signed between the Yanka Kupala
National Academic Theater and the Embassy of Armenia to Belarus. Heads
of the Ministry of Culture of Belarus and of the diplomatic missions
accredited in Minsk accompanied Ambassador of Armenia Oleg Yesayan
among the spectators.
