Ruben Khlghatian Re-Elected Armavir Mayor

RUBEN KHLGHATIAN RE-ELECTED ARMAVIR MAYOR

ARMAVIR, MARCH 26, NOYAN TAPAN. The current mayor of the city of
Armavir, deputy head of the Armavir regional structure of the
Republican Party of Armenia (RPA) Ruben Khlghatian has been re-elected
mayor of Armavir. The commission of the electoral disctrict No 21 made
this decision on the evening of March 26 after summarizing the results
of the elections held on March 25 and taking into account the fact
that no applications-complaints were received in the prescribed
period.

8,322 voters voted for R. Khlghatian, while 6,844 voters – for his
rival Arayik Aghababian, head of the Armavir regional structure of the
"Prosperous Armenia" Party. 15,791 out of the total number of 25,884
of Armavir voters participated in the voting. 598 voting papers were
recognized as invalid. There were 28 inaccuracies.
