On March 28 Central Electoral Commission made public the final tickets
of the parties and candidates running for the parliament.

Reminder; the deadline of the submission of necessary documents was
March 12, 6 o’clock.

3 out of the primary 27 parties and 1 alliance announced rejection
of nomination; the Liberal Progressive Party of Armenia, the
Armenian Homeland Party and the Progressive United Communist Party
of Armenia. It is noteworthy that the CEC worked very hard today as
only 17 parties were registered by afternoon.

33 out of 174 candidates running under majority system introduced

“I should like to see any power of the world destroy this race, this small tribe of unimportant people, whose wars have all been fought and lost, whose structures have crumbled, literature is unread, music is unheard, and prayers are no more answered. Go ahead, destroy Armenia . See if you can do it. Send them into the desert without bread or water. Burn their homes and churches. Then see if they will not laugh, sing and pray again. For when two of them meet anywhere in the world, see if they will not create a New Armenia.” - WS
