RUSSIA, ARMENIA TO COOPERATE IN URANIUM PRODUCTION

Russia and Armenia have signed a Protocol of Intent on Monday on
prospecting for and development of uranium.
The document titled "The Protocol of Intent between Rosatom (Russia’s
Nuclear Power Agency) and the Armenian Environment Ministry for
geological prospecting and processing of uranium, as well as a Plan of
Activities for 2007 have been signed by Rosatom Chief Sergei Kiriyenko
and Armenian Minister of Environment Vartan Aivazian.
