Georgian GM Levan Pantsulia beat his Armenian opponent Tigran Kotanjyan
in the eighth tour in the Dubai Open Chess tournament. Prior to the
meeting, the two chess players were sharing the leading place.

Presently, Pantsulia and Huseynov top the meeting table with 6.5
scores each.

Ashot Anastasyan, another Armenian chess player, beat Harika in the
eighth tour and took the sixth place with 6 scores. Artashes Minasyan
beat Ramesh with white chess pieces. Tigran Petrosyan tied with Bakrey.
