ANTHONY GODFREY: THE CHANGE IN THE HUMAN RIGHTS REPORT HAS CAUSED CONFUSION

US Charge Chargé d’Affaires Anthony Godfrey said today that the
changes in the Human Riights Report of the US Department of State
"have caused a confusion."
The American diplomat noted that "the aim of the restoration of the
initial wording was aimed at avoiding a greater confusion.
In Godfrey’s words, "The most important is the fact that the US
position on the Karabakh conflict settlement has not changed.
"We think the status of Nagorno Karabakh should be determined by the
conflicting parties themselves."
