YEREVAN, MAY 8, NOYAN TAPAN. The second annex of Yerevan’s Nork
infectious hospital is repaired with the financing of Hayastan All
Armenian Fund’s Brasilian local body. By the end of the year it is
planned to put into exploitation the second and third floors of the
annex, to repair the roof, to build a boiler-house and a heating
system. As Noyan Tapan was informed from Fund’s Public Relations
Department, the laboratories and departments working in that annex
serve nearly 3000 patients a year.
Hospital Director, RA General Infectionist Ara Sanosian said that
thanks to the continual assistance of the Fund service in the hospital
built in 1956 will correspond to modern requirements. In his words,
this is very important for the only infectious hospital of Armenia,
which serves nearly 5000 patients a year.
