YEREVAN, MAY 16, NOYAN TAPAN. Zero votes were registered in favor of
Zharangutiun (Heritage) Party at some polling stations of Armenian
regions, which is very strange for representatives of that political
force. Anahit Bakhshian elected a deputy by Zharangutiun’s proportional
list said in her interview to Noyan Tapan correspondent.

In her words, the people warmly welcomed their preelection program
both in Yerevan and in the regions, and the rating of party Chairman
Raffi Hovannisian remains high, and to receive zero votes in such
circumstances at some polling stations was just impossible. "Of course,
we will go to the parliament and will work, but we feel ourselves
robbed," A. Bakhshian said.

In response to the question, whether Zharangutiun’s seven deputies
will feel constrained near 66 MPs of the ruling party, A. Bakhshian
said that quantity is not quality yet and with thier active work they
will gain to their side even some RPA members.
