MEASURES TAKEN TO INVITE FOREIGN EXPERTS IN CONNECTION WITH FACT OF LEVON GULIAN’S DEATH

YEREVAN, MAY 18, NOYAN TAPAN – ARMENIANS TODAY. During the
investigation of the case of Levon Gulian, who died under unrevealed
circumstances in the RA Police Criminal Investigation Department, two
new lawyers – Hrayr Ghukasian and Aram Karakhanian will be introduced
to L.Gulian’s legal successor. During a talk with NT correspondent,
H. Ghukasian said that measures are being taken to invite independent
foreign experts on the initiative of the OSCE. The experts will make
an alternative forensic examination.
To recap, Yerevan prosecutor’s office, which conducts an investigation
into the criminal case opened in connection with the death of
L. Gulian, has already assigned a complex examination, including a
forensic examination.
