BAKU: Next Visit Of OSCE Minsk Group To Region In June 2007

NEXT VISIT OF OSCE MINSK GROUP TO REGION IN JUNE 2007

French Ambassador Bernard Fassie, an OSCE Minsk Group co-chair, stated
to a news conference in Yerevan on 24 May that the next visit of the
OSCE Minsk Group co-chairs to the South Caucasus region is scheduled
for the beginning of June 2007.

"We will tour the region in two weeks and the US Ambassador Matthew
Bryza together with another OSCE Minsk Group co-chair will join us
this time," he added.

The OSCE Minsk Group Chairs from France and Russia have been visiting
Armenia from 23 May as part of a tour of the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict
region. During their visit they held meetings with the President of
Armenia, Robert Kocharian, the Prime Minister Serzh Sarkisian and
the Foreign Minister Vartan Oskanian

On 24 May the OSCE Minsk Group co-chairs will depart for Baku.
