The Armenian Diaspora did not suffer from clash of the Lebanese army
with the Palestinian extremist group "Fatkh al-Islam", Ambassador of
Lebanon to RA Gebrael Geara said. He said that the country’s Armenian
population lives far from the places of operations and it is "safe
and sound". "I have multiply noted that, fortunately, no Armenian
died during the recent tragic events in Lebanon. They are in safety",
the Ambassador said.
