UN RESIDENT COORDINATOR: ARMENIAN CAPTIVE HAS NOT APPEALED TO US FOR PASSING TO THIRD COUNTRY

"The UN supports Azerbaijani and Armenian Presidents on continuing St
Petersburg talks over the Nagorno Karabakh", UN Resident Coordinator
Bruno Pouezat briefed journalists, APA reports.
"The UN wants a peaceful solution to the Nagorno Karabakh conflict.
We consider the latest meeting in St. Petersburg as fresh step in
this field and welcome continued talks," the UN representative said.
Bruno Puezat said the UN Office in Baku has not received any appeal
by Armenian Valeri Suleymanian, who gave himself up to Azerbaijani
armed forces in the front line in May, for help to pass to a third
country.
