VIMPELCOM SIGNED CAMEL-ROAMING CONTRACT WITH ARMENTEL

Vimpelcom signed Camel-roaming contract with ArmenTel, an Armenian
cellular operator, said in the announcement of Ukrainian RadioSystems
(URS), operates as Beeline.

Also URS subscribers, staying in Armenia would be able to use another
national cellular operator- K-Telecom.

At present the service is available for all URS subscribers in 29
countries. Camel-roaming technology let the subscribers use the phone
abroad in the same way as in the domestic network.

In the middle of May Vimpelcom signed equal agreements with Mobitel
(Georgia), Mobistar (Belgium) and Areeba (Cyprus)

Ukrainian Radio System OJSC (Vimpelcom’s 100% subsidiary enterprise)
renders cellular communication services under Beeline brand since
April 2006. Company’s cellular communication net cover 549 cities
and 8 thd rural localities.

VimpelCom ranks second among cellular operators of Russia and the
CIS. It provides services for more than 50 million users. Telenor
(26.6% shares) and Alfa-Group (35.8%) are Vimpelcom’s largest
shareholders. Above 40% shares are floated on the New-York Stock
Exchange. The company has issued 51281022 ordinary shares and 6426600
preferred shares; Alfa holds all the preferred stock.

Vimpelcom’s net profit under US GAAP made $277.3 mil in IQ 2007, that
is 84.6% more then in the same period of previous year ($150.2 mil).

In IVQ 2006 company’s net profit made $197.95 mil. Thus the company’s
net profit rode 40% in relation to IVQ 2006. Revenues made $1.488 bln,
that is 59% more then in 2006 ($936.167 mil). OIBDA rose by 58.8%
to $766.417 mil. OIBDA margin made 51.5%

the results of 2005, published by AK&M in Sept 2006.
