FIVE INTERNATIONAL ORGANIZATIONS SUBMIT BIDS FOR CARRYING OUT BANKING ACTIVITIES IN ARMENIA

YEREVAN, JUNE 15, NOYAN TAPAN. Five big international financial
organizations have submitted bids to the Central Bank of Armenia (CBA)
for carrying out banking activities in Armenia. The CBA chairman
Tigran Sargsian told reporters on June 15 that these are a German,
an Austrian, a Lebanese, a Russian and a Dutch company. The Dutch
company is Postfinance that will open Armpostbank in Armenia. According
to T. Sargsian, the CBA is now conducting negotiations with these
companies.
