HEARINGS ON THE LAWSUIT OF A CANDIDATE FOR DEPUTY FROM THE 36TH DISTRICT MUSHEG SAGATELYAN STARTED IN THE CONSTITUTIONAL COURT OF ARMENIA

Hearings on the lawsuit of a candidate for deputy from the 36th
single-mandate district of Shirak region, Musheg Sagatelyan, started
in the Constitutional Court of Armenia

Musheg Sagatelyan’s lawyer Gevork Minasyan said over the hearings that
according to the decision of the regional electoral commission dated
May 17, 2007, a non-party Mkhitar Baragyan nominated from the civil
initiative won at the election as he gained more than 14 thsd votes,
Musheg Petrosyan from the Prosperous Armenia party gained more than
13thsd votes and occupied the second place, and the non-party Musheg
Sagatelyan occupied the third place as he gained more than 7thsd
votes. He also added that 9, 632 votes were rigged, but he could not
give a strict answer where he took this figure from.
